St. Vincent’s Diabetic Centre

St. Vincent’s Diabetic centre is an initiative of Major Arch Diocese of Trivandrum instituted by the late Metropolitan Archbishop His Grace Benedict Mar Gregorios in the year 1991. The centre provides diabetic and medical care to the widows, destitutes and poor patients in the southern districts of Kerala State (Thiruvanthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta). It is a community focused program to control diabetics.

The main objective of our centre is

  • To facilitate early diagnosis and control Diabetes
  • To provide effective health education and Behavior change
  • Promote Care &Treatment
  • Develop Volunteerism and community mobilization.
  • Free medical support for the vulnerable population like widows, destitute and poor patients.
  • Develop Capacity on behaviour change and self -management

Our goal

The goal of the St. Vincent’s Diabetic Centre is to identify, educate and render preventive health care through subsidized medical care and support to persons suffering from diabetes or prone to it.
